What changed from older guides

If you read a guide from October 5 or earlier, three things are out of date:

Systems to watch

  • Governor election: the governor can switch on five policies, such as a 15% wage rise or half-price transport. When an election opens, we will post the dates here.
  • Sea plots: paid display spots on the waterfront with review before launch.
  • Money and prices: the no-cash-out rule is in the official terms. If those terms change, we will update the page and note the date.

Not confirmed

  • Payslips: we have not yet seen the money that lands after a shift, or how quickly Performance rises.
  • The first business payout (due 6 PM the day after we bought the kiosk), what a bad day looks like, and the Bus company business.
  • The first Saturday charge for rent and the Lapo loan repayment.
  • Nepo Baby: the numbers come from the game’s own data; we have not played a Nepo account.
  • University enrolment (we have the costs but have not completed it), friendship levels in play, wallet top-ups, sea plot purchases and the election campaign flow.
  • Any app-store release (see the app guide).

How we track changes

We re-check the game and update the log with the date we saw each change. If you spot a difference between this page and the game, tell us through the contact link in the footer.
