All Lagos Life businesses with price, daily income, running costs and bad-day risk. We bought the kiosk: it pays every evening at 6 PM, no need to be there.

Businesses in Lagos Life pay you every evening at 6:00 PM, whether or not you are online or even in the same city. There are 8 to choose from, starting with a ₦150,000 Recharge and Data Kiosk in Ojuelegba and ending with a 5% share of Quilox for ₦250,000,000, plus a haulage trailer. We bought the kiosk on October 6, 2026 to check how it works, and this page lists every business from the game’s data tables.

What we tested: buying the kiosk

Businesses are bought in the Invest app on your in-game phone, with one tap and no confirmation. Buying the Recharge and Data Kiosk took ₦150,000 from the wallet at once, and the app then showed “Next payout tomorrow at 6:00 PM”. The game’s own description says: “Each one pays you every evening after its running costs. Some days go wrong. They take months to pay for themselves, so pick well.”

What we confirmed in play:

  • Payouts are daily at 6:00 PM and happen while you are travelling or offline.
  • You do not need to be there. We held the kiosk while we were in Port Harcourt and Abuja.
  • Selling returns 60% of the price. The kiosk showed a sell value of ₦90,000.
  • You can own one of each business. Trying to buy the same one again says “You already own this”.
  • Tax applies. The Invest summary says payouts are after tax, while each business card shows its totals before tax. The weekly tax-free allowance means small incomes are not taxed; see tax.

Income is a range for each daily payout. The average net column takes the middle of the income range, subtracts running costs and allows for the 10% chance of a bad day. “Days to pay back” divides the price by that average net.

What can go wrong

Every business has a one-in-ten chance of a bad day, and a bad day costs money instead of earning it:

  • Recharge & Data Kiosk: The network went down and nobody bought data all day. A bad day costs ₦2,000.
  • Zobo & Chapman Stand: The ice block man didn’t show up and the zobo went warm. A bad day costs ₦3,500.
  • POS Stand: Network was down all day and a customer’s transfer “didn’t drop”. A bad day costs ₦4,500.
  • Buka (Mama Put): Gas finished in the middle of the lunch rush. A bad day costs ₦19,500.
  • Barbing Salon: NEPA took light and the generator packed up. A bad day costs ₦42,500.
  • Car Wash: The borehole pump broke down. A bad day costs ₦95,000.
  • Event Centre: A wedding was cancelled and you refunded the deposit. A bad day costs ₦320,000.
  • Quilox Share (5%): The club was shut for a night by the task force. A bad day costs ₦1,100,000.

The haulage trailer

The Mack Haulage Trailer costs ₦18,000,000. The Invest app says it earns ₦117,000 to ₦209,000 a day, minus ₦30,000 for the driver, and that it sometimes breaks down (₦95,000 to fix); the game data gives that an 8% chance. You can own up to 3, and selling one returns about ₦11,000,000.

Bus company

The Invest app also lists a Bus company: HiAces from ₦18m, described as “Coaches and night sleepers too. Crews, fares and walk-ins every evening in Bus Co.” and marked Open. We have not collected its details yet.

Which one first?

On the numbers, the cheapest businesses pay back fastest: the kiosk, zobo stand and POS stand each pay back in under 100 days, the Buka and barbing salon take about 110 to 117, and the car wash, event centre and Quilox share take 131 to 188. The right choice depends on how much cash you have. Fund the first one from a job (see the jobs and salaries guide) and reinvest, or put money into land. Work out your own numbers with the payback calculator.

What we have not confirmed

We have not yet seen a real payout land, which should show on the first evening after the purchase. We have not seen what a bad day looks like in play, and we have not collected the Bus company. Prices, income ranges and costs are from the game’s data tables, and the payout time and the “no need to be there” rule were checked in the game.
