Lagos Life Houses: All 15 Homes, Rent and Move-In Costs
All 15 homes in Lagos Life with weekly rent, move-in cost, room size and guest limits, from a ₦1,200 UNILAG hall to a ₦1,500,000 Banana Island mansion.
Lagos Life has 15 homes across its three cities. They range from a bunk in a UNILAG hall at ₦1,200 per week to a Banana Island mansion at ₦1,500,000 per week, and rent is collected every Saturday. This page lists every home with its rent, move-in cost, size and guest limit, checked in-game and in the game’s data on October 6, 2026.
Rent and moving: the rules
- Rent is paid every Saturday at 9 AM. The housing screen says so, and the Bank app lists it under Weekly bills: “Rent · Self-contain ₦6,000, due Saturday, 9 AM”.
- Moving costs three times the weekly rent. The Houses app showed ₦7,200 to move into Mushin (₦2,400 per week); the move-in column below applies the same rule to every home.
- Your furniture moves with you. You do not rebuy the bed when you upgrade.
- Homes come with starter furniture. The Yaba self-contain we tested came with a mattress, radio, calendar, kerosene stove, cooler, bucket, chair, toilet and a plant. The game also sells 69 furniture items, from a ₦1,800 foam mattress up.

If you cannot pay the rent
Other player guides report that unpaid rent becomes a debt, and that owing more than two weeks of rent anywhere except Mushin gets you moved to a Mushin room. We have not tested this, so treat it as a warning, not a confirmed rule.
Which home should you pick?
Your starting origin decides this for you at first. A Lapo Baby can choose a UNILAG hall, Mushin or Yaba; the game’s own advice is to start in Mushin or Yaba and work your way to Lekki. A Nepo Baby starts in the furnished Lekki mini-flat with the rent paid for them.
The numbers show the trade-off. A Lapo Baby in Yaba pays ₦6,000 rent plus a ₦12,000 loan repayment each week, which a Tech intern’s five shifts at ₦9,900 comfortably cover. Mushin saves ₦3,600 per week on rent but gives you a 6×6 room with space for 3 guests instead of 7×7 and 5.
Want the numbers for your own job? Use the budget calculator to see your weekly pay after rent and how many weeks it takes to save a move-in cost.
Houses are game items
The official terms are clear that nothing in Lagos Life is real property. A home is a game object saved with your account, and it carries no real-world ownership or investment rights. Treat any offer to buy or sell a home for real money as a scam; the same rule is explained in our money guide.
Verified in-game and against the game’s data tables, October 6, 2026. Move-in costs for homes other than Mushin apply the three-times rule and have not each been tested. This is an independent fan wiki.
